When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

Not too much impressive.
It looks like he reversed the draft order from this year and switched a couple of teams around.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Early Power Rankings Have Vikes 25th...
Interesting find.
Even if it don't mean anything now, it gives us something to get worked up about.
I think it's a fair ranking around there based on our young team, and our track record from last year. Even if we were placed lover we really can't complain. We have a team this year that needs to prove itself.
As a fan I of course expects us to do that, and improve that ranking over the season.
Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I LOVE that he ranks THREE AFC teams ahead of the Putzies...I just hope that it holds true!
And that the Vikes surprise more than a few so-called experts!BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: Early Power Rankings Have Vikes 25th...
I am definitely not all that surprised by our ranking. I mean I could see us anywhere from 17-27 really, so this is not all that big of a deal. I do think that have the Patriots anywhere other than 1 or 2 is smoking crack though. I also think that a lot of teams in the NFC seem to be getting better, which hurts our chances. The 49ers, Rams and Cardinals have all improved out West and the Lions in our own division. The Falcons could make some noise with the new offense as well.
I think we have gotten better as well, but hell I would not be surprised if we finished 11-5 or 5-11 ... makes things kind of exciting.

Re: Early Power Rankings Have Vikes 25th...
The Viking ranking fits given last year's offensive performance.
With an experienced QB running our off. (not BJ) and a quality WR I think you would see the ranking much higher.
It's the offence and lack of pass rush that is giving the prognosticators bad vibes about us. No where to go but up is the way I look at it.

with that being said 25 is what we were at the end of the season i think we have added some help and should be a little higher up, but we will have to wait and see
