Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings starting weakside LB E.J. Henderson (ankle) indicated he would not play Sunday, Sept. 25. He has not practiced this week and remains doubtful with a high ankle sprain.

As casualties mount during the season, we will see who will step up from the ranks of reserves. D Thomas will start and play well. Could someone else come from off the bench and become a star? The talent we possess on the bench may hold some surprises and as the season wears on will be counted on to play at a high level..... Who's the next diamond in the ruff?
Just an injury away from finding out.
