What do I hate, just hate? I don't like to be woken up. If I'm sleeping and I'm in a deep sleep or taking a nap, don't wake me up. If the house is not on fire, don't wake me up. That's a real pet peeve of mine. If you see me with my eyes closed, please leave me alone....

I think in this sport, in the NFL, every athlete comes into the game with the hope of being the best. I don't think anybody comes in saying, "I want to be the second or third best." I want to be recognized as the best linebacker in football. More than that, I want to be the starting middle linebacker for the No. 1 defense in the NFL. Especially if you start repeating as No. 1 — people will talk about that defense for years. Like the Purple People Eaters (right). People talk about them 30 years later.

EJ rocks.

I wonder if he gets woken up from a pre game nap. He sure plays like somebody woke him up ;D. A nice insight into EJ's personality. If he stays healthy, having a number 1 D, and the Pro Bowl is not out of reach.

It will be great to have him back in the lineup this year. The defense should be darn near impenetrable.

One of my favorite Vikings, I'm really looking forward to him being back this year.
