Is E.J. Henderson the come-back player of the year

This to me seems to be a no-brainier. The fact that this guy ever made it back at all is astounding. Anyone who witnessed the horrific upper leg injury that E.J Henderson suffered in Arizona last season surely must have had serious doubts of the Viking Middle Linebacker playing another down in the National Football League.

Now, almost a full year later, he’s not only back, but he’s playing at a pro-bowl level. Amazing !
Is E.J. Henderson the come-back player of the year ?

IMHO one of a select few bright spots from this team this year.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    He gets my vote.

Too bad he won't win the award though. That will probably go to LT or something stupid.

    Vick, and it's not close.

People forget that Tomlinson still managed 12 TD runs in 09, fifth best in the nfl. This year he has 5. The YPC has alot to do with joining the number 1 rushing team in the NFL.

Vick going from prison, to the bench all last year, to league MVP has to be the winner.

Henderson while an amazing story is not what I think of as come back player. He played great last year, and great this year. If they have an award for most amazing injury recovery, I'll vot for EJ.

Since when does banging an underaged hooker in New Jersey get you a come-back player of the year award?

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

    *snip*

First - Vick won't be the league MVP. That award will go to Tom Brady - and if you watched last night, you know why.

Second - Vick didn't "come back" from prison during the time-period covered by this award. That was last year. All he's "come back" from this season is playing lousy wildcat QB behind McNabb.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Which still makes him comeback player of the year.
    Bench warmer to MVP candidate.
You are right though, Brady probably gets MVP, and well deserved.

    I disagree.

Bench-warmer to backup/starter by injury < broken fibula to Pro Bowl-caliber MLB.

Except EJ played 12 games last year, and had more tackles than he does through 12 this year. He was voted to the pro-bowl.
Bench warmer to probowl starter > probowl backup to probowl backup.
