Great work Dwight, we need guys to make plays down the stretch, having playmakers on defense will make for exciting football. Who's gonna step up for Detroit?

the Lions have a lot of weapons at WR, we all know that.
I'm looking for both McCauley & Griffin to step it up this game, and Gordon to have another good game.
Theres a possibility Winfield will sit out again, if so, the games in the hands of our young CB's.
Going to have to have Kitna on his heels

The Lions are ranked the 7th best passing offense and 9th in scoring.
Gonna be a tough test if we can't get pressure from our front 4 (DL) and have to rely on the LB's to blitz all the time.
If that happens people will be beeeeyaatching on how bad our CB's and S's are without realizing that our DL has major issues STILLLLLLLLL no matter how many of you believe they have fixed the scheme.

Early in the game on Sunday, some Giants WR (Toomer?) went up for a catch.
As he came down, Smith cam zooming in and actually went around the WR, slapping at the ball, trying to force a fumble.
That torked me off, to be honest.
Safeties are supposed to bring the wood, not the slappy hands.

they have injury issues on the right side. watch for us to throw a lot of blitz's from there.
if we can keep Kitna runnin he won'tn have the accuracy and hopefully our ball hawkin secondary can continue their ways.
they will pick on the rookie's all day long. short or quick shots under them. solid tackling should hold, but it's all riding on us getting preasure with 4 men, and extra results from blitz's.
i'm not worried about our run D. since phat pat got pissed off.. he's been a monster. it's just gonna help KW to get more results!

In the games the defense has played well, the opposing QB has helped us out.If we don't get pressure from the front 4 and have to rely on the blitz, it could be a long day. Especially if the refs let Calvin Johnson push off, like last time.
It would help to get the lead in this game so we could primarily run a ball control, clock eating rushing attack. Keep Kitna on the sidelines.
I predict Dwight Smith will have a pretty good game again this week. He can really fly around out there when he's fired up.
