    Draft a kicker next year

Imagine though, the opposing team never starting past the 30 yard line, the vikings being able to kick below 50 yard feild goals witout worrying at all and 50-60 yarders with relative ease! i say go for it vikes, could be a flop, but could be great!

Show some aggression, draft special teams lol

mike nugent is the best kicker in the country!!!! he is worth a first round pick for sure. he broke most of the kicking records at ohio state. he holds 18 records. he was 8of9 past 50 this year.kicks out of the end zone. he would have to be worth the risk considering what the vikes have been through since berger left. and he is dual duty and clutch.
GO BUCKEYES!!!!! they took it to mich today! awesome!!!!
Yeah buddy... no trip to pasadena for the 'rines!

and to mention another great point....nuge has kicked at least 65 field goals in his career. i know at least 20 or more of those were beyond 45. when did the pats draft vinateri? what round? first or second. and he turned out very well. we all know kickers are a crap shoot for the most part, but if the vikes are drafting as far back as we all hope, would it be that far of a stretch? really, a good kicker is very important, a great kicker will win a ton of games for you late in the game and late in the season. taking dangerous kickoff specialists out of the game, put 9 to 12 points in any given game, it would be very hard for me to pass him up. didnt janikowski go in the first. it is not unheard of.

No way Vinateri was a first or second rounder!

By the way, since the badgers lost the Wolverines are going to the Rose Bowl! They tied with Iowa for the big ten title, but since they beat them during the season they will be representin'!!

I don't care if he is the best kicker in the damn world!! All he does is kick. The first round is for playmakers not kickers!! Our drafts have been screwed up enough as it is recently, drafting a kicker in the first round would really make us the laughing stock of the NFL draft!!
Adam Vinatieri has singlehandedly owned nearly every team in the league and casually won two Super Bowls, and people still don't think kicker is a playmaking position.

Oh, but when will you learn...
