And, from the 06 draft, we got Greenway, Griffin, Cook, Jackson, and Ray Edwards!!

We are starting a ton of young talent.
Given time to adapt to NFL speed and the system, they could be great!
Especially if they keep up the good work in the draft room!!

    Thanks Studwell and Co.!!
I wouldnt go bragging about last years draft too much just yet. I dont think Greenway is doing as good as he could be, esp. in coverage. But EJ is making up for it. Hes much better at middle then I thought hed be. Griffin and Cook flat out suck this year. Edwards may be the real deal. Tjack has been less then stellar.

This years draft I think was much better. I think Rice is good enough that if we had a real QB and offense, he could be rookie of the year. But then that titel will prolly be AD's. I also love robinson. So my hats off to Childress and Co. this year.
LMAO, I bet that seriously pained you to write that CCthebest.
    lmao.
The first sentence you have ever written, ever, with a positive twist and Childress in the same sentence.
    That is too funny.
It is way too early to be touting success for recent drafts, I like what I see though.

Vikings owner Zygi Wilf said his optimism over the team's future is based on its drafts. Four games into the season, it looks as though the 2007 class has a lot going for it.......

The guys calling the game were commenting on this.

3 of the guys are giving immediate help on the starting rosters.

and the next two give help on situational downs.. especially robison for pass rushing 3rd down (at least IMO, and he's the face of the future vikings dline)
i m better than you, so just give up...

I'll give props for a good draft, but you Childress lovers can't have your cake and eat it too.
Just admit he wanted T Jack for sure.
Chilly Dawg can't be responsible for a good draft but have no say in who's his QB, just say Uncle on that one.

Re: Draft class of '07 delivers for Vikings

I think this is the first time i've seen sooo many rookies not just playing.. but contributing in a BIG way!!

some are more dramatic then others.. some are more consistant then others.. but.. as time goes by.. We'll look back and say.. 07 was 1 of the greatest draft class's.

Ahhh but not all of us give credit to the Chiller for the draft.

The ones that know better give the STAFF credit for the ones that have worked out as well as say how bad the STAFF screwed the Pooch on Cutler and Clemens which got us to TJ.

With that said, and what we know of how the draft worked out, how can you keep saying the Chiller had TJ as his number one option at QB in that draft?
