Re: Draft class of '07 delivers for Vikings

And, from the 06 draft, we got Greenway, Griffin, Cook, Jackson, and Ray Edwards!!

We are starting a ton of young talent.
Given time to adapt to NFL speed and the system, they could be great!
Especially if they keep up the good work in the draft room!!

    Thanks Studwell and Co.!!

Overall, I believe the NFCN is drafting such very talented young players. They may point at the North being weak right now, but wait until some of this talent matures a little more. Weak no more.

Yes, even the Lions, well recievers anyways

I believe Harrell has been a disappointment so far...he's been inactive, and seems to be quietly becoming a bust!
Or, they've just got folks straight out playing him for now.

Two parts on Harrell, one he was active this past week, had a QB pressure and a tackle for a loss. I think the biggest thing with him is he was out of football shape this year and that they are being careful with the arm.

From reports, his conditioning is close to back and they are feeling more confident in his arm, however there is no way I can say that they are not a little disappointed to this point. I think with the depth at DT is part of the issue as well, somehow I think a trade of a DT is comming yet this season or this offseason. We shall see.

They've certainly drafted well, I'd keep Childress as a head coach. I just don't want him or any of his KAO Goons anywhere near the offense.

I wouldnt go bragging about last years draft too much just yet. I dont think Greenway is doing as good as he could be, esp. in coverage. But EJ is making up for it. Hes much better at middle then I thought hed be. Griffin and Cook flat out suck this year. Edwards may be the real deal. Tjack has been less then stellar.

This years draft I think was much better. I think Rice is good enough that if we had a real QB and offense, he could be rookie of the year. But then that titel will prolly be AD's. I also love robinson. So my hats off to Childress and Co. this year.

Credit is given when it is due.
    Very nice my friend.

    ;D

I think that some of (Edit.
I said EJ but meant Greenway) problems are a direct reflection of the fact the is basically a rookie starting in real NFL games, as is a lot of our guys.

With that said, Some mistakes will happen.
