MINNEAPOLIS -- If draft analysts assigned grades in October instead of April, the Vikings would be getting straight "A's" for their 2007 draft class.....

Damn that coaching staff.
I sure wish they (Childress and his croonies) knew how to draft and get more out of thier players.
And I don't want to hear any excuses like they have only played 4 real NFL games either.
Rookies are expect to perform at this level right out of college.
Fire the whole frickin bunch of em.
Get someone in here who can coach.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I don't believe there is a person on this site that was not thrilled with the draft we had.
Everyone was fired up.
Now, it is up to the coach to start winning with the players he has drafted.
Get them in the game.
Keep them in the game.
Don't play AD one half and sit him for the majority of the 2nd half.
Sidney Rice finally got some action against the Packers.
Give him even more snaps.

Re: Draft class of '07 delivers for Vikings
Awesome post and totally agree. This is what building through the draft is all about. I love Chilli as a head coach because he is doing most of that right. I'd say 85% of the animosity he faces is the offense he is trying to install. He is trying to install an offense that doesn't quite play to our players strengths. It should be the offensive coordinator coming under fire for this but Childress is taking the heat because of his own doing.
<Rant>
Troy will never be a deep threat so stop wasting downs chucking deep balls to him. Send Rice and Wade on those routes because they have gotten separation and caught the ball on the few instances they had. Troy's strength is running after the catch so use him on slants and crossing patterns. If I am not mistaken, the O-Line is using a zone blocking scheme instead of what they have played in for years. Could that be a reason our pass protection sucks? Also please stop lining up TEs and RBs against the best DE on the opposition.

Halo 4. Start another fight.
