    Dontarrious Thomas

did anyone else notice DT dominating the field yesterday? In the second half he was all over the field making tackles it seemed. Plus a nice sack. That ups my confidence level in our linebacker core.

I wouldn't be holding my breath on him doing that in the regular season against the starting team.

DT did real good, i also thought EJ has done thus far this preseason, it should be interesting to see whether EJ sticks at outside to fight it out with DT or if he goes and backs up Cowart

I think EJ goes back to the middle and if continues to impress and Cowart falters, he'll start again this season. That was the whole reason for Cowart, to mentor EJ into the position of middle linebacker.

dt did play well, ej played better. cowart has been exactly what was expected. cowart has had our d in position to make big plays...cowart may have been in to help ej along but what will help ej the most is game experience....that is why they have moved him to the outside....dt will get plenty of playing time this year in the nickel defense ...dt is going to be a playmaker in years to come..but for now putting cowart in the middle having ej on the outside and dt backing up it best for the team.....
