Have the doctors ever told you to inhale "pure oxygen" from an oxygen tank before? My migraines have been massive over the past four days ... coming off of relatively "lighter" headaches for almost a month.
I was joking with my wife that Percy Harvin likely had headaches this week, and then I read the paper, and he had. I hope he does not have them as bad as I do.
The headaches are no joke. Cluster migraines, the kind I get, are called "suicide headaches" in the medical community because that is the road some sufferers take to be rid of them.
Now that I think of it, coach Childress has not really helped my migraines either.
I read an article sometime back where people were suffering severe migraines after they have traveled on jets.
Doctor(s) had come to the conclusion that the lighter air, even in the pressurized cabins, may have affected the brain in such a way as to cause migranes even a day after flying.
They also found that by inhaling oxygen from an oxygen tank, certain people who were experiencing the migraines, had the migraine go away after doing so.

Thank you for posting the links. Yes, I have oxygen. It does help control some of them if I catch them early. It can also help on the back end to help clear them.Minniman wrote:

Unlike Harvin, I have had cluster migraines for over twenty years. I have tried many things to keep them in control, and that is about all I can hope for.
As far as Childress goes, if he does not understand what needs Harvin has, he could actually have a negative effect on Harvin's migraines. It is a lot more like someone suffering from epilepsy than someone who just gets tension headaches from time to time.
