Do the Vikings deserve to get in the playoffs?

I would say no based on the way the team played down the stretch, but it doesn't matter how we got got in or whether we deserved it. The key thing is we need to turn this damn thing around now and prove that we belong in the post season. Everybody better get used to those white road jerseys

We slid in on someone else's loss - we EARNED nothing. To me, this is the WORST way to get into the Play-Offs. Reminds me of someone else last season...who was that....

Better to be lucky than good...at least that is what has been said in the past.

The Packers got help making the playoffs last year, and we got help this year. That's nobody's logic, it's fact.

But after watching how desperately the Rams, Panthers, and Saints were all fighting for their playoff spots, it was very frustrating to see the Vikings not do the same.

There were 10 other teams that were more pathetic than us, so yes.

I don't think just because we won enough games to get in, that we autimatically deserve to be in then. I think there are 3 teams in the NFC that didn't really deserve to make the playoffs, and 2 AFC teams that didn't make it but deserved to make it. Just because we won 8 games and 8 games is what it took to make the playoffs, doesn't mean we derserve to be there. We very easily could have lost to the lions and then we wouldn't be in. Remember what some of you were saying to pack fans last year, that they didn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Well then you should then think the same about us.

I, for one, dont think about the results in terms of "deserving". Did we deserve to lose at Lameblow this year? No. Did it make the loss any better? No. So who cares? We're in, thats all that matters.
