Re: Do People At Your Employer Make You Angry When Talking Football?

Yeah. I have this one teacher friend of mine. He claims that he is a Vikings fan, but by his actions, he is suspect. Anyway, he made a comment about how the Vikings are cheap and will not go after top talent that is in the league and on the Free Agent (FA) market. I was like dude, we
added Allen on the defense and on the offensive side of the ball, there aren't too many "IT" guys out there.

Most of my co-workers (and Boss) know what a fanatic I am about the game and the Vikes.

Very few offer me suggestions but just ask what the hell I think about not only what the Vikes are gonna do but thier teams as well........

I have a blast with the PUKER and Deadskin fans to say the least..... ;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

The people at work aren't too bad. Everyone just busts my balls....but being in the midst of a million Eagles fans, that's to be expected.

I have the same problem with all the Giants fans here...but since we've beat them the past 2 times and they won the SB, it's calmed down some.

My boss is a sports nut (and a Jets fan) and watches just about every game...every Monday he comes into the office and says "you have to get a new coach".

I'm usually the annoying person, I pick apart the teams that my friends follow and make sure I have arguments that go deeper than what they bring to the table.
So, I'm the cause of getting others angry by using their team's roster and challenges against them.
If they come back with a rebuttal against the Vikings I have no problem stopping their challenged rebuttals.
I am the source of strife, a way of life.

Re: Do People At Your Employer Make You Angry When Talking Football?

I had a coworker who honestly believed Todd Bouman was a great NFL QB and should have started for the Vikings.
    That drove me nuts.

Also I get really annoyed when I am talking football with someone and they mess up players names or can't remember them.
    That gets so annoying.
How am I supposed to take your opinions seriously when you don't even know who the players are!
Brad Childress is 1-6 in games played Dec. 17 or later.
