Great Point, even the local Sports reports are talking about TJack, the team ect. Those guys are dialed in way more than we are as well. You begin to question what is going on. We just have to take the wait and see approach I guess."snowinapril" wrote:
Exactly.
I personally don't like smoke up my butt.
Let Chuck speak his mind I guess.
What does that say for our current team if our own former greats are even whining?
Now finally, for all of those posters on here who mock others by saying "You don't know. You have never played or coached at a high level, blah blah blah" here is your proof.
I'll take Foreman's word. We all can see with out current QB situation and coaching that we are not going far, but it is just a big sign of trouble when alumni start bashing.

Glad we got that straight."jackyl" wrote:
Awesome.Chuck IS on payroll.... as a team consultant his job is to not only bridge the gap betwee the historic Vikings and the current roster, but to also be honest in HIS opinion of the team.
I think that is the right and honorable way to do it.
To muzzle a guy like Chuck will be immediately transparent and certainly tarnish not only Chuck, but the organization trying to pull very thin wool over the fans' eyes.
I was totally off base.
How honest does it look right now with Gus getting on the field and TJ on the sideline.

Re: Disappointed with Chuck
NO ONE KNOWS THE AGONY OF DEFEAT LIKE THIS MAN (EXEPT THE REST OF THE TEAM HE WAS ON).
Let him say what he wants when he wants no matter whose paying him.
I think its cool he still seems passionate about the team and wants them to win.
I put a sig on here before, but it expired?
Now i have tried again but seem to be retarded.......oh well,
Floop the bears!

What is not to like about reality, unless we are scared of reality?

I took Chuck's original comments that were posted as he wasn't getting paid and he was just telling the truth."snowinapril" wrote:

I am glad that Jackyl cleared up the fact that he is on payroll and was speaking his mind.
It seems even more credible that he is on payroll and still said it.
If he wasn't on payroll, it kind of looked like he might have been disgruntled with management and that would have tainted his opinion.
The fact that TJ is not starting this week might mean that Chuck and others got into Wilf's ear.
JMHO!
I stress the O.
