Did You Ever Wonder How The Vikes Are Organized?
In an effort to try to give some people insight into how our Vikes inner sanctom works my intention was to try and provide a list of key people in the Vikings organization along with thier roles and responsibilities, however, this organization is tighter than a, well lets say they just don't have alot of info out there to be pulled from the Web.
Because of this, I am going to see if I can get ahold of a Mr. Brad Madson who is listed as the teams Director of Community Relations and send him a letter asking for the roles and responsibilites of everyone on this list.
I am sure he won't send me anything other than probably some staff letter that says, thier titles are self explanatory, however, I am still gonna try.
Anyway, some might find this interesting and others will still believe that we have a guy named Childress running the whole show.
;D

Re: Did You Ever Wonder How The Vikes Are Organized?
So do you all think we need a GM to help organize all of this?

I searched the Vikings' website for an email address for Steve Lacroix (after he promised there would be more port-a-potties at the GB game and there were actually fewer) and came up with nothing.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I do, but I think you will probably only find one other on here (at least that is what I've seen) that would agree with me.So do you all think we need a GM to help organize all of this?
;D
I think he/she would go a long way into ensuring that everyones interests were tracked, discussed and agreed upon.
Again, I can't say it enough, the whole snaffu that lead to us missing out on Cutler, Clemens and finally selecting TJ is a prime example of why Spielmen is on the staff and what a GM would ensure doesn't happen.
Don't get me wrong, I like TJ, but either one of those two would/should be further along at this stage than TJ just based on thier backgrounds. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I actually agree with you, but I didn't realize that was an unpopular stance to have."pixie" wrote:

I believe a good manager would go a long way in keeping track of everything and being an objective liason with the team's best interest at heart.
Are there any top tier teams that don't have a GM?

Seemed nice on the phone.
This was like 8 years ago so don't even ask me for his number.
It would take me 8 more years to find it if I still have it.
Moved 3 time since.
LOL!
