MANKATO - The Vikings spent Sunday looking to add help at defensive end after learning Jayme Mitchell will miss the season because of a knee injury....
God damn! This position seems to always be a pain in the crack for us. Can we for once look at the DE position and say: "Wow, this unit is looking good!!" without being in the off-season.
Ray Edwards is injured,
Mitchell is out for the season,
Udeze is out for the season,
Robison is injured.
The only one healthy at the moment is Jared Allen. Thank God he's our best player!
I think Robison should be back soon. Actually, I think it would be great to see Allen and Robison as our two DEs... but thats just a pipe dream.
I wouldn't call it our latest problem as much as our constant ongoing problem.
We have Douzable. We're fine.

Show me any NFL team, and I will show you a team that needs another DE. There just are not that many Jarred Allens and Dwight Freeneys out there.
One devastating pass rusher will do it for me.
