Thread: Defense is a' Jellin'! Favourite D-play

Kudos to our defense today! I've been waiting for a game like this from stoppers all season and they fared very well today! Glad to see the O get the points they did against the Titans no-slouch defense, but I really think our guys on D secured the win. While it was easier doing it with no McNair,...our boys did knock him out of the game. My favourite play by the D was that awesome pick by Winfield! Anyone else care to voice their choice?

Yes it was nice to watch game where we dominated and didnt let them come back in the 4th quarter.

Yeah the pick by Winfield was definitely the top play....but I give props to the whole defense...even Brian Williams even though he got burned a few times. We play D like this from now on and we can go a long way!

We may have only scored 20, but I'll take that any day if our D can hold the other team to 3 points.

-Big ups to the whole defense today only allowing 3 points all day
-The pick by Winfield was an awsome snatch
-Ranoll Smith is saving his career this year, some great play on defense. If he can step it up the rest of the year like he did today he deserves to be a starter.
- And to any of the haters that come in here and say "well you guys did all this b/c McNair was out", like Canuckvike said, "our boys knocked him out"

Frankly, with McNair questionable going into the game today, I'm not sure that Volek didn't pose the bigger risk to the defense.

I actually liked the Raonall Smith interception. He basically moved into position to get the INT, it would have been a TD otherwise. I thought Smith played a great game today.

Yhe defense did play better but the Titans defense was in the Vikings backfield all day and the Vikings did little to get in the young Qb's face.

Winfield's pick was sweet! Just laid back for that one! THE Ohio State puts out some awesome DB's!
