defense...defense...DEFENSE!

Well I've been lookin through the forum pages for a thread about our defense and how it played last night.

I saw about 90% of the game. From what I saw our defense played great. We brought pressure to farve and we forced turnovers. Even the ROOK got in on the action and got a Pick6.

Over the past 3-4 weeks I have really begun to see our defense get better and better. I think that time was the key.We shut down the one hit wonder gado. We held them to 21 yards total rushing.Picked Farve off twice.

Lets face it, these past couple weeks we have been playing some d@mn good defense.

defense is starting to jell. I still think that we need to blitz a little more just to catch teams off guard.

Now, I just wish the offense starts playing for a change.

How about Erasmus Jame's play, i thought he beasted it last night, he's a lot more explosive then i thought, and he's only 23 i think the guy has a bright future. Kevin Williams is starting to look like the beast we are used to, maybe that offseason knee surgery had him over wheight and out of shape but he looks good out there. Pat Williams is a beast, he makes a huge difference in the defense. A Dub played awesome for exept the one play he tryed to jump the route, bad mistake but he makes up for it. I thought EJ was explosive as usual. Every game different players decide to step up and make plays, its been the great thing about the D at most times this year. Alot of guys played well.

yes and I don't know about any of you other vikes fans but i believe this team has a real good chance to make the playoffs.

defense needs to play consisently. i have enjoyed their play the last two games. we just need to keep it up. james is using his speed well, our db's are finally making plays, just get the lb's to play a little better and we should be straight the rest of the season. <<as long as we score on special teams or defense, lol>>

The past 3 games you can really see the defense improving. Last night I wasnt worried and praying to god farve didnt throw 234 td's. I felt confident about the Defense. **Raises Glass** Heres to the future of the Vikings D!

i was so worried about gado, because thats pretty much all i read about. unfortunately he only got 10 carries, and churned up a monster 7 yards. to bad it wasnt his birthday.

Heck yeah! They did a great job, especially against the run!

I really feel bad when we our Defense gets turnovers or has a good series and the Offense fails to put a point up because of it. I would hope that the Defense making plays would inspire the Offense a little more. I hate waiting for the last play of the game to see if we won!
