Defense in 2004..
I will say in the top 5 and let me tell you why.....Ted Cottrell has never finished out of the top 5 in defense during the time he was with the Bills....the question is...will it carry over to the Vikes?

Defense in 2004..
I say in the top 5.....because we have the talent and hopefully a taste for revenge from last years poor finish to the season.

Defense in 2004..
Improved and considered average...We still don't have a good DE lined up for next year. If we can pick one up we will be improved without a doubt!

Defense in 2004..
I don't think that we were far off last year, minus a couple of games. I think that we have great players, but we were just missing a couple of pieces:Cornerback, LB, and DE. The cornerback is taken care of(Winfield), now if we can get a good LB(Ian Gold), and a DE in the draft(Smith or Udeze) I think that we can be top 5 in the league. Top 5 defense and number 1 offense, sounds pretty good huh?

I think that the top 10 might be possible, but even that seems a little much to me. The D is definitely improved though. Winfield alone is going to help tremendously against the pass, by shuttng down WR's and giving the line more time to get to the QB, and he can also play against the run better than any of the corners we have. Martin will help against the run alot I think. I'm looking forward to see what Cottrel does with a defense that has a lot of young talented players.

YEA I think any where from 13th to 7 or 8th in the league. Definately not top 5. I think we are 2 years away from that possibility

I think we'll have a great draft and fill the other holes we have through free agent like maybe gildon and it will look like the best D we've had in a while. But only time will tell.[Beer]
