    Re: Daunte's Fumbles

Fumbles a lot? Mcnabb had 8, Vick had 16. I guess 9 is a lot. Mobile QB's fumble more than pocket passers. You gain some, you loose some, with them. Look at how many times he got sacked, and that isn't a bad number at all.

Re: Daunte's Fumbles DOES POST THE STATS PROPERLY!!!

You need to scroll down the player page, past passing, stats, rushing stats, etc... the last category there is a "FUMBLES" stats category. I c/p'd it below:

Year Team G Fum Lost Fum Forced Own Rec Opp Rec Yards Tot Rec TD
    1999 Minnesota Vikings 1 1 0 0 1 0 0 1 0
    2000 Minnesota Vikings 16 11 0 0 5 0 0 5 0
    2001 Minnesota Vikings 11 16 0 0 7 0 0 7 0

he wasn't last year but two years ago, he couldn't hold on the ball if you put stick 'em on his hands. he had +20 plus fumbles, if that's not fumble prone i have no clue what is.

    Thanks Josdin

    Re: Daunte's Fumbles

I know at least two of his fumbles last year can be attributed to Birk and his crappy snaps when he was trying to play hurt.

I wont argue the guy fumbled a lot. If you do your only kidding yourself. He has improved a lot and I would guess that he has overcome that for the most part. He seems calm and collected even when getting chased EVERY play and that has helped his decision making.

I think his fumbles are a moot point, but it is up to him to proove the world not us.

    Re: Daunte's Fumbles

He fumbled a lot early in his career. Last year was much better. It will only get better this year. The older he gets, the quicker he gets rid of the ball, thus less sacks, fumbles. With any scrambler you will see more fumbles. He will break records, just not fumble records.

    Another great sig by PPE!

Yeah, he has fumbled more than zero times but it has decreased dramatically! Hopefully this year it will be zero!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
