thats awesome, sad thing is some looser from nigeria says he wants to send a check for 10mil and have the guy send him 2 mil back. then about 10 days after he would cash the check he will find out it's fake and have to pay back all the money. pretty sad nigeria makes 100mil a year in the scams

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Some people were upset with the pricey Daunte Culpepper item Scott Reisenbigler listed Thursday on eBay.

"I've gotten e-mails from people saying they want to wring my neck," said Reisenbigler, a limousine driver from Burnsville, Minn.. "I'm like, `Come on.' Most of the people e-mailing me are funny, but a couple of people are killing me."

Under the listing "Daunte Culpepper For Sale," Reisenbigler listed the Vikings' quarterback on eBay with a starting bid of $1 million and a "Buy It Now" price of $8 million.

The listing included a photo of Culpepper setting up to pass, and the item description read, in part, "This auction offers Daunte Culpepper The Disgruntled, so called Team Leader of the Vikings. . . . He has a bum knee that he has been rehabbing in Florida. . . . Buyer beware of these things, also. He has a very Fragile ego and constantly needs that stroked. . . . Bid with confidence. Daunte could be the face of your Arena or Town team."

Reisenbigler actually received a bid within hours of posting the item at noon.

"The guy's name was `dchassmallhands.' He bid the $1 million. I took it off because I didn't want eBay to charge me any fees," Reisenbigler said. "I think they charge 1 percent of whatever the sale was. That's $10,000. I don't want to be made an example of."

Reisenbigler, an eBay member since May 2004, said he decided to post the Culpepper item after hearing about the quarterback's latest e-mail to the media, asking to be released if he isn't traded.

"I'm a fan of his, but I don't like how he's acting," Reisenbigler said. "Everybody puts stupid stuff on there. There are so many people taking this so serious. Daunte's taking it so serious. So I thought, `Why not just mess around with it and put it on eBay?' It's a way to poke some fun at him."

By 5:25 p.m. Thursday, there already were more than 6,000 viewings of the item.
