Re: Daunte replaced by Childress on Official website!

This was already started in another thread, but oh well. It is kinda funny how Pepp is traded, and all of a sudden his pic is taken off the website, his player bio is taken off the website, but Fonoti's info was still up there just a little while ago. Seems like some front office people were just as eager to get rid of Pepp as he was to leave.

That is hilarious, it looks absolutely ridiculous. Is this what our team has come to?
It's not the team, it's the web designers.

You're right though, it does look ridiculous. Pulling C-Pep is fine, just replace it with a real pic instead of a faked one.

    well,

It could be a photo shoot just for the website, that's not unheard of that they touch it up with a bit o photoshopin...

but i see a couple things,

    1. there is a wierd white little lump of flesh on his left side under his cheek..
    2. there are 2 different shadow angles

so.. maybe it's a bit of both.. a white screen background with a quick photo take.

    DiGiTaL

but.. yeah that was a quick chanage.. i bet their webheads thought were told.. remove him from everything!!

Who cares. We are Internet hounds but most people could care less what some hack working for nfl.com puts up for aesthetical appeal on the official website. lmao, Childress and aesthetical appeal in the same sentence? I bet that has never happened before.

Actually why not put a rotating hero spot of allthe big name players, and yes, the coach too (he is a major part of the team too). That is what I probably would have done. (Of course, that is just one of many complaints I have about the official vikings web site anyway, but that is probably more appropriate for a different thread... :grin

But my guess is that none of those other players were immediately available. Childress's pic was up hours after the Dante email, so they could have done a quick photo shoot at winter park.

I bet we see new one when the new uniform pics are released.
