I agree with WTP our o-line is more of an issue than our receivers. We have lots of problems and we did not need this one (daunte out) I like brad but doubt he can lead us to many/any W's. We will see. I hope daunte can come back soon.
yeah me too, i dont know how the recievers can take any of the blame, they never get the ball, if we had the chance to throw to them more they would definantly do something good with it, i like wigens, but i would rather see our WR's getting more balls thrown their way, we have a problem with our line and protection schemes that needs to be fixed

Yeah, but I dont see these people catching anything.
However I do agree with the oline statement-we suck there, thats why daunte had so much pressure to run-and look what happened-i am not saying that i dont like to see him run he is good, but eventually like yesterday-he is and did get hurt. THIS SUCKS

Hey everyone, I cannot believe what happened to us yesterday! Did I have a nightmare or is Daunte Culpepper really hurt? I know he has not been doing that great, but I honestly believe that if he had some veteran-or even 3 or 4 year old established receivers on the other end of the field that we would not be in this position. Although we won the game last week-that was a sweet victory-we lost this week, and now unless our backup quarterback is any good(he has won a superbowl, but with good receivers) we basically have no chance-or the little chance that we had with Daunte. This is a nightmare.
yeah i feel ya man. can you make your font smaller next time? thanks.

This does suck, but we have to come out and play our asses off against the Lions and see what happens. You don't pack it up, that is part of football. We didn't pack it up when Mr. Everything went down with some hammy injuries last year. Injuries happen. Everyone on here was THRILLED when we picked up Johnson as a solid back-up and now all those same people are throwing a fit.
Give it til next week. We fall at home to the Lions then we are in for a tailspin, but dont give up yet, we have ALOT of winnable games left. We have played some VERY good teams at their house to start the season and it has hurt, lets hold out hope we can turn it around in the Dome.

I will always have faith in my team....we have a chance...

However, we've been the "trash of the NFL" this year, and without Daunte I don't know how we'll get it turned around......they gotta dig deep and be inspired by his injury and wanna "win out for Daunte"!

No way you see Daunte playing this year, lucky if next year.If I was the vikings,I would spend my first two picks on off lineman (supposingly a real strong class this draft) this year.Because it dont make a hill of beans far as your skill people if you cant win in the pits..
If winning isn,t everything, why keep score?

Man...and I thought the Moss trade was bad. At least I had a good offseason (on paper) to look forward to. I can't see anything good in this injury.

Was it necessary for Tice to come out and say that Daunte was crying, and all the I love you crap, yeah I understand why Daunte cried, but you dont have to go tell the entire world.....
