Does anyone else think he should go? Too bad we still didn't have Mitch Berger.

Bennett is about 40 years old and has to go. Field possesion is very underated.

Punter and kicker seem to be the haven of the over the hill gang for the vikes. Want to go deeper in the playoffs fix the special teams. How many teams have to punt on 35 and its not theirs

Exactly, Did anyone see his 24 yard punt today, that was just great because that let them score to make it 14-0 and Morten is also going so that should be the first priority

But many of his punts have been decent. His first punt was spectacular, after the 24 yarder (off a bad snap) landed them very deep. What more do you want? geez, folks...

His play this season has been terrible at times. Too many -30 yards punts for my liking. He did have some good moments, but overall he's just too inconsistent.

DBennett was OK (yeah, that one punt was awesome) but I still miss Mitch Berger's kickoffs (although Cortez seems to like to get into the mix when it comes to tackling...did anyone see him flying into the pile a few times...laughed my butt off!)

Cortez does give it his all, tackles way better than Elling.

Elling looked like he was looking for dimes on the turf when he made the tackle attempt that put him out

Kicker and punter Anderson and Bennett need to be let go. Both have been a hindrince.

Draft Nugent for kickoff and FG and free up one roster spot and can Anderson and sign a punter.

Maybe Elling will be better next year. If he figures out how to be accurate we won't need a kick-off specialist. Elling was booting the hell out of the ball before he got hurt remember. Give him a chance, get a punter other than eddie johnson and we'll be ok!
