You're actually a bit off with that my friend.

He allowed Brad to audible. What he did do was stop him from doing it when Brad kept audibling out of plays that required him to throw the ball further than 10 yards.

I think a point that keeps getting lost in all of this "Audible" discussion is that for the WCO to be successfull, much like a chess match, it has to set the defense up.

HC's/Ocoords have a gameplan to do that. When a QB refuses to follow that game plan then the winner of the chess match will often be the defense.

As to why the Noodle was allowed to audible in 2009 but then wasn't in 2010, to me, atleast, was pretty obvious.

In 2009 the Noodle for he most part played within the scheme and the W/L's reflected it.

In 2010, well, lets just say that a QB who wants to hold the ball to long and chuck it deep all the time, just isn't gonna win any chess matches my friends.
    link?
To what? As recently as last week I posted articles that said he held the ball to long.
How about to any articles backing your usual wild ass theory about him using an audible to change every pass play over 10 yards. If you get me that link then I will start to take your stance a bit more seriously.

Favre wasn't allowed to audible freely like you're suggesting. Favre just did it because that's what Favre does. That is what the heated debate was on the sidelines in 2009.

Had Favre listened to Childress & run plays exactly as scripted, the Vikings wouldn't have even sniffed the playoffs.
Still a bit off. He was allowed to audible as long as he stayed in the scheme. When he deviated and it turned out bad, is when things got heated.

Go back to the "Sideline" shot that shows the Chiller grabbing his elbow to talk to him and look at what happened right before that took place.

It wasn't because the Noodle audibled out of a play and great things happened my friend.

You know I can't find an article like that. Go back, watch the games. I sure anyone will quickly recognize that which I speak is pretty close to the truth.

Heck, go look at what he did in Dallas the next year. Again, pretty close to reality.
