Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) will have surgery on his injured knee Tuesday, Nov. 15. Dr. James Andrews, an orthopedist with the Alabama Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center, will perform the surgery on Culpepper, according to Vikings vice president of football operations Rob Brzezinski Already on the Injured Reserve list, Culpepper is expected to be out at least six to nine months.

I hope that the 9 month projection includes time to get therapy and all that jazz so he can start getting into game condition.

That Alabama Sports Medicine Group does all the major surgeries for NFL players I think, I see them in a lot of articles. DC is in good hands.

not only do i hope Pep has a sucessfull surgery i hope he's watching the way Johnson has been playing. i know Johnson has tons more experience at the QB position than Pep but Johnson doesn't try and force something when our offense isn't clicking.
