Culpepper/Favre Debate.. STATS say it all

I have heard endless Packer fans say how terrible daunte is and well frankly i decided to finally do my research and figure who has better stats. Since Daunte has far less expierence i went by the first 3 seasons in which the two started in 10 or more games. Noting that Daunte has started in 2 less games.

For passing yards Favre has the edge as daunte has thrown for 10,402 in his first 3 whereas favre threw for 10,412, anyone think daunte coulda thrown for 11 yards in the two games he has less than favre, I DO!

Passing TD's Favre has the edge 70-65.

Passing Ints Favre threw 1 less with 51 while dautne has thrown 52

Quarterback rating daunte wins wiht a rating of 85.2, while favres is 82.7.

Now sure it may appear favre has won this debate, but we forget a key stat very valuable in todays qbs... rushing (just ask the pack how they liked mike vick in the playoffs

So Dauntes 1,495 rush yards give him a all purpose total of 11,987. Favres rushing yars were just 616 giving him a total of just 11,028...advantage DAUNTE. Just thought id let u know that i used favres top 3 rushing years.

All purpose touchdowns came to this Daunte 87 Favres come to 74... again advantage Daunte.

Now i know this will only bring meaningless, thoughtless comebacks from packer fans, but we can all agree that stats done lie, and while yes daunte has much to prove i think ill take a promising young quarterback on my team over one who is on the decline (if you would like i can show you those stats too).
How Many Packer Fans does it take to screw in a light bulb? We dont know they havent figured out how to yet.

I opened this thread up thinking it had real potential, then saw it was 6 years old and thought it really should be good. Too bad all but one post are missing.

Nothing I enjoy more than a good old debate on how one QB measures up against another one based on their stats.
