My prediction: undefeated this season with Brad Johnson putting up at least 35 TDs.

    What's this topic about again?

5-25%. I'm a football genius and I aim low. Since the Vikings have, ultimately, disappointed me every season of my life, I feel that I have the experience to aim squarely at the heart of mediocre and hit the mark.

Plus, I don't write outrageous things like "Tarvaris Jackson will be starting by October!" or "Fred Smoot will lead the defense to the #1 ranking!"

I stick with things like "I think the Vikings running attack, behind the solid blocking of the left side of our line, will be able to effectively move the chains and consume the clock, giving some rest to the defense."

See? Nothing to specific with plenty of wiggle room (for unknowns like injuries) which would make me, perhaps, smell the cooked crow, but not have to chow down.

you can't go wrong.. here's another good one..

either brad johnson is going to be throwing it, or handing it off. and he's good at those. we can either win or lose any given game, it all depends on how we play..

(like the pick with zygi, that real? or photoshop, if its real, tahts awesome)
i m better than you, so just give up...

Although you didn't come out and actually predict anything, your thread on here comparing the Vikes to the Steelers certainly implied that the Vikes are poised to make a SuperBowl run this year.

I'm afraid you may be telling us the best way to grill crow  .

    Re: Crow Eating Offseason.

While I stand behind all of the posts I have made regarding C-Pep, BJ, TJ, Smoot, our record in 2006 (10-6 BTW), Childress, Tomlin, Zygi, and a partridge in a pear tree... the fact remains that there is potential for crow eating in all of them.

I actually try not to make outrageous predictions, but even the safest predictions can lead to a healthy helping of crow. For instance, I don't think TJ is ready to be an NFL starter this year. Now if something catestrophic happens, and TJ is thrust into the limelight, the potential is there to not just prove me wrong, but to prove me wrong to the extent that I must eat my words. And if that happens, I will happily eat crow.

I'm married and crow is regularly on the menu, I have several summer BBQ recipes; I'm quite used to the Vikings and Maple Leafs helping to serve up extra helpings of the popular bird over the last 25 years. Beer is always a great accompaniment with every serving, I also finish every helping with the quotes "Yeah, yeah, whatever", "yes dear your right" or for packer fans "you suck"

The percentage of posts with crow eating potential does not translate into lbs of crow eaten. Many statements are making the crow list this offseason, the season better start soon before some are living off a steady diet of crow.

    I wanna slap my mother-in-law anyway... :evil4:

    The
"So good you'll want to slap your mother-in-law"
    Recipe
    submitted by Jim Anderson

    Ingredients
16 pieces of crow breast meat (no bones) (8 crows)
16 pieces of jalapeno peppers (or banana peppers)
    16 strips of bacon
1 1/2 cups of Teriyaki sauce
    Preparation
Place breast meat in a covered bowl with the Teriyaki sauce over night.
Cook the breasts in boiling water for about five minutes. Cut up fresh
jalapeno peppers into circles (or use the store bought kind that come in
jars). Place one jalapeno pepper in the center of each breast and wrap with
bacon. Secure the bacon with a round toothpick. Cook on the grill until
bacon is crisp (not burned). Flip the breasts constantly to avoid the fat
catching on fire. Use banana peppers for people that don't like their food
    quite so hot.
    Serves four adults
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
