    What if...

Randy goes to Oakland for a few years...their team has a good O but no D. Meanwhile, we get a good D and mediocre O (kind of like the Eagles before TO). We are missing that one component needed to win the SB, and as a result of an Oakland cap purge, Moss reunites with the Vikings. We win the Superbowl and Moss retires a Viking!

    Alright, ill wake up now.

Yeah, but to get Moss, we have to give up that good D. All of a sudden, we are in the same boat again. You know we'll be giving up way more than just a pick and a LB to get him back!

I could see this happening! I seriously think he is going to come back to us after his contract is up in Oakland...

he could be released...i can see him wanting to get out of oakland in 3 years if they don't get close to a superbowl.

I doubt he would be released. The Raiders would essentailly get nothing in return for him.

I would doubt he would come back to play for us. Only if we were serious contenders at the time. By the time he is looking elsewhere, he will be looking to those teams who are on the verge or are already champions. This will be because he knows his time is limited. Karl Malone did it and so did Cris Carter; as well as others.

But, I would love to see him back in Purple someday and help us win a Super Bowl.

Don't bet on the Raiders letting go of Moss. Only the Vikings are dumb enough to make such a move =P
