Culpepper just needs to shut the f*** up!

He has done NOTHING good for this team this year on or off the field.

Culpepper, Smoot, McKinnie and Williams have turned this season into a 3-ring circus.

The Vikings can't even have a press conference about football because the media just wants to ask love-boat questions.

I hope the Vikings cut all 4 players for the distractions they've caused.

It is a double standard JimmyMac.

The media has had a field day with this and it simmered down with the winning streak. This will die down too. It is one of those things that will be played out until it isn't funny anymore. I personally think it has worn it's welcome out in the media.

If the Ravens made it through the Lewis and Lewis scandals, we can make it through the love boat. Only difference is that we will have a QB and they still do not, oh yeah and those guys were brought up on manslaughter charges(not convicted) and drug charges(felony, did the time).

Now that the media has gotten what they wanted, they have to figure out how to print it without being to graphic with the words Double D*ldo and Carpet Licking in the story so it is family rated. Well, poohey on the media.

    "Mommy, what is Carpet Licking?"
"It is something Daddy doesn't do anymore, does anyone know Bryant's phone number."

The Vikings aren't being held to any double standard that they didn't ask for. McCombs and now Zigi will claim how good the team is for the state in order to get public money for the new stadium. These 4 (and the rest on the boat) did a lot of harm to that effort. How long do you think any of them would last in a major company after screwing up the company image and a major PR campaign (which is what the stadium effort is). Zigi would significantly help his presentations to the legislature and county boards if he could say he was determined to bring class to this team and dropped the hammer on these 4 as a first step. None of them are irrepaceable.

Some say C-pepper can't play again. But some said a 260-pound QB couldn't play in the NFL, and he showed them otherwise. I think Culpepper is a unique QB in this league and I am sure he will return. He is a team guy that always thought about the team and the fans first and himself second. So I don't really understand when people say he is doing something wrong. Unlike a lot of prima donnas in the NFL, Culpepper has always been about TEAM. Notice that he says, he wants to win a Super Bowl for Minnesota, not for Daunte. There are a lot of guys in the NFL who say, "I want a ring", and leave out which team they will be getting it with, because to them, it doesn't really matter. Culpepper is different...

So I guess he was just taking one for the team when he was on the boat.

Well, since you said it. It could be seen that way. It was a rookie party and how would it look if he didn't show up?? He is considered the leader of this team, he was performing badly on the field, and may have felt he needed to grab that chicks a$$ ...... all for the sake of team unity ??

If anything against CPep, it was just a bad decision.

I read somewhere, these guys have the money to do this a little more "quiet" if they want and that makes sense .... Just need to think out the location a little better in the future.

If that's his idea of being a team leader, we are in big trouble.

Come on .... really. You need to get off your high horse or insulated world you live in. If you think this only happens to "athlete's", you need to check your reality a little. This sort of stuff happens every day, every where more than you think.

And as Charles Barkley put it, "I'm not you childs role model, you as the parent should be one. " Is very appropriate in this case.
