He has done NOTHING good for this team this year on or off the field.

Culpepper, Smoot, McKinnie and Williams have turned this season into a 3-ring circus.

The Vikings can't even have a press conference about football because the media just wants to ask love-boat questions.

I hope the Vikings cut all 4 players for the distractions they've caused.

    The four stooges.
Those 2 statements are totally unfair. Just because they were the faces attached to this incident doesn't mean they need to take the brunt of the punishment for the whole team, the sacrificial players so to speak.

You might as well let Johnstone go too, his name is in the police report along with Smoot for reserving the boat. We know that Memo was there, he admitted it, might as well let him go too.

This shouldn't turn into a Fan whitch hunting event. We need to support our team. Once again, this is not embarrassing to me as a fan. I will look at this like Ned said, we need to learn from our mistakes. We sometimes forget to view these athletes as people. Try to put yourself in their shoes in that situation before throwing stone or condemning them.

I know I would have been guilty of what DC and Moe are accused of, I can't see myself doing what Smoot and McKinnie did in a public forum.

If we didn't let K-Will go after his 2 incidents, we shouldn't let these guys go. It would be unfare, and it would bring a law suit for unfair practices. We could put the guys on the trading block, anythingelse would not make sense from a business stand point.

    Good one Gift!!!!

We put these guys on pedestals and when they screw up, we want to knock them off. All the other times, we are wishing we were in their position with their money, blah blah blah.......to a certain point that is.

It is a double standard that Pro Athletes and Celebs are held to.

We are talking about Pep like he really did something horribly wrong.

He offended an employee on the boat, who probably wants money, by putting his hands on the buttocks of a female dancer.

Read it for yourself, click on the link, I strongly recommend it.

    http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1215051vikings2.html

If I was DC, I would say straight up to the media, "I am charged with putting my hand on a strippers buttocks." I wouldn't even deny it or admit it. It is what it is.

I personally had stripper boob banging me in the face b4 in sniffers row. That sounds worse than what DC did. It is just that everyone that enters a strip club, pays admission, is all there for the same reason, and no one should be offended by the conduct, which has certain guidelines. On the boat, they totally surprised the crew, they should have asked or been totally upfront about the party.

jimmymac, the hater of C-Pep, I wasn't surprised by your reaction!! Yeah lets cut 4 guys for having lap dances, I bet your employer would be short a few bodies if everyone let employees go that had a lap dance! You definitely need to simmer down, if these get released for this and tons of guys around the league are playing right through spousal abuse charges, what does that say?

    Cheers!

I am guilty of a lap dance or two and having my hands on a ass.

My employer should fire my ass.

Re: CPep finally speaks on a variety of topics.

    Listen guys,

It doesn't matter to me if Culpepper touched a stripper's arse or Smoot went down or Williams toyed around. I'd like to go to a party like that myself. :downtown:

It doesn't matter that "innocent until proven guilty".

It doesn't matter if a lap dance is legal or not.

What does matter is that they got themselves AND THE VIKINGS in this position. ops:

The Vikings are now a late night joke.

You can't read a sports page and read about football.

They make the fans look stupid. :tard:

I am saying that they are IDIOTS and have done a DISSERVICE to us all.

I can't believe some of you guys are defending stupidity!
