But seriously, didn't Maurice Greene run better than 9.97? I thought he held the record for a little while after Bailey.

ben johnson don't count he was taking steroids thats why his eyes had a yellow color to them.

Yeah Ben Johnson was doing heavy roids. I was always very suspicious about Carl Lewis I think he may have been on the roids. Anways Maurice Greene did run better than 9.97 he actually ran the 100 meter in three really good times 9.79, 9.80 and 9.82
