I remember watching the Lakers play at the Armory, but the way I remember it, they played most of their games at the Old Minneapolis Auditorium which was demolished about 1990 for the new Convention Center. I saw most of their games at the Auditorium. It was only their last two seasons they played at the Armory.

Back in the day 1979-1981 I was a member of the 47th S&T Battalion in the MNARNG.
Minnesota Corn Field commando all the way baby.

Wonder how many poker games and cans of beer have been played/consumed in there?

Must've been tough to be in the cornfields going commando!
