Chavous is definitely worth keeping around, moreso than Russell.

Since we are 13 weeks into the season, here's a list of guys in their last year of their contracts. Of these guys who would you like to see back or see dissapear.

I think we should make an effort to get Claiborne back, he's been healthy and has looked good the past two weeks, as young as we are at the LB position we need some veterans. Also Brian Williams, hes been OK but not as good as i expected i think maybe we can let Russell go and convert BW to the FS position where him and Chavous can team up together. Definitly Wiggy too. I've heard that Dixon is thinking of coming back for another season, he's also solid.

    Any other thoughts?
    Brian Williams CB - Yes
Brian Russell FS - Only for the minimum
Jermaine Wiggins TE - Yes, solid
Gus Frerotte QB - Yes, for the minimum (if DC goes down, good insurance)
Chris Claiborne LB Yes - (only if no injury problems)
David Dixon OL - Yes, solid
Chris Hovan DT - Only for minimum (cut in training camp if no good)
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

I really like Brian Williams, he seemed to play a little better last year with more INT's but i think olearly played more of a cover two defense where all the DB's had chances to jump routes, if you remeber any of his INT's last year he was in zone coverage. He's a great tackler and a hard hitter because he was a safty in college. I dont know what kind of money he will demand but the main question is, "Can we get someone else that's better than him?" Probably not, definitly not a rookie and free agent corners this year will be thin. I think its important to get him back.

To whoever wants to get rid of chavous: Thats kinda crazy, tell me who's gonna replace him? The draft is week this year at the safty position but i dont know about FA.

I do know we have some $ this year.

Hovan will not be back next year, even if we were willing to bring him back.

No way I want to see Chavous go, if I have to choose between Russell or Chavous, I rather keep Chavous.

    I want Russell gone!
    Wiggins can stay
    I want Hovan gone!
    Cambell can stay
    Frerotte can stay
    Dixon can stay
    Williams can stay
Claiborne I am not very sure about, he can't stay healthy and is overweight but if he stays healthy and keep his weight good then he can stay but if not, let him go!

Yeah, I think Tice won't give him a chance to come back. Would another coach, a new coach?

Chavous needs to STAY. We need to keep some of our better people. Can't just start from scratch, where would we be then?

Stallion, your new logo must be all the rave with the chicks on the PP.Org.
It is disturbing that I find myself looking at the HELMET. Maybe if you put a Packer Helmet there, we would be less likely to look at it.

lol, all 2 or 3 of them, right ?

Hovan will probably sign somewhere else, only to play better than he has ever played for us. It wouldn't surprise me.

Woodson will be tagged and/or traded before he hits the market. And we will not give up what he is worth.
