Thread: COME ON!!!

Im so sick and tired of hearing all this crap about how bad the vikings are and that we suck and none of our defensive players can play..... Give our defensive players a break they have like 2 rookies on the team and EJ who is a second year player and there still learning the defense.... We've had a new defensive cooridinater every year for the past 3 years.... CAN WE JUST STICK WITH ONE FOR LIKE 2-3 YEARS????? Yes ill admit coach tice isnt as tough on them as he should be but he's not the defensive coordinator so I think we should just let the team gell togethor and gain confidense then we'll be a great bunch of guys..... Dont loose hope just give them time.....

the vikes have a good team... the difference between a good team and a great team is being able to come back and win and also being able to keep the lead and win... vikes are taking too many baby steps on defense to make them a good defense.

certain players on D are great: kevin Williams, Winfield...

some are good: Chavous, EJ, Newman, Udeze, johnston

some are mediocre: Russell, Brian Williams

and some can just plain under achieve: hovan, claiborne, etc.

but together with a new defense, they blow donkey.

Not many teams have that many good and great players.... we have the players its just that htey are confused and need to learn the scheme....

NO our defense sucks. Thats why we wont make the playoffs

GIVE THEM ONE MORE YEAR WITH THE SAME COACH AND DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR!

You don't need great players to superbowls, you need a team that plays great together. Look at the Patriots and Steelers, both have good defences, how many players from either of the teams can you name? you don't need big names to play big ball.

hanee..go blow favre's nuts ..yur a packer backer and u kno it..yeh give our d a break they r young and will learn...im gonna say hold onto hovan and trade or cut russell..claiborne is still a beast makin plays when we need them and johnstone is pounding out a sack a game along with udeze...keep chavous winfield b will henderson claiborne at least another year and see how the d backfield developes together after we get a star free safety...antrell rolle via draft..trade bennett to move up in the draft...if not this year, yull c the vikes in the nfc championship game again..this time winning it
