Childress seems much more interested in whether or not you can play FOOTBALL, not what time you can put up on a track.

It's not Chilly, Just ask Marr
Well yeah, Tice only showed up on Sunday to coach the game.
The other guys handled everything else, just like Childress.

You, my friend, may find yourself on the wrong column of the spreadsheet.

I purposely let Ltreys post go.
Now you guys want to stir me up.

I am sure Ltrey knows that the Studwells scouting staff, under Spielman direction, are really the guys that pore over all the tape on these guys and then the present thier recommendations to the entire staff which includes the Chillers coaching staff.

A very interesting read my friend.
    Thanks.

It’s an indication of just how overblown the hype surrounding the combine has become.
I disagree, its an indication of a teams scouting ability if for some reason they let the combine workouts (times) dictated a players selection.

The good teams use the stats and personal one on ones as a piece to a puzzle when drafting players.
The bad teams will buy into the hype along with the only other real audience for this kind of stuff, us football fans who love to mess about in draft mocks.

Again, one more time for possible penetration......

Teams will view the combine as a piece to the puzzle.
It gives most of the coaches time to have one on ones with the players that the scouting staff has been following all year.
It isn't the end all/be all to whether they select a guy.

Unfortunately for us, that isn't the way it happened with T-will.
As I said in another thread.
Closure is finally here on a very low point in this once storied organizations past.

    I'm ready to move on.
Hey Marr! Who did you have the Vikings picking for WR with the 7th pick of your 2005 mock draft & of the WR's available on the board at that time of the 7th pick, who would you have chosen?

Wow, that is a tough one.
I usually only keep my mocks for a year or so.

If memory serves I didn't have us draft a WR in the first round but looking at solving that issue in FA.
I was kindof high on Nate then anyways.
Man was I wrong on that guy.

Anyway I remember being torn between Antrel Rolle, Demarcus Ware and a OT (Brown I think).

Don't blame the combine, blame the scouts. There was too much pressure to replace Randy, even when we had other needs.
