Colt's starting DT arrested with Marijuana, won't play in week 2

Wow....
"Ed Johnson, last night in Hamilton County, was arrested between midnight and 1 a.m., and charged with speeding and possession of marijuana," Colts president Bill Polian said Wednesday afternoon. "Those charges have been filed, it's my understanding, and we're in the process of determining what course of action will be taken in respect to discipline. There will be discipline. We want to gather all the facts to make sure what we're doing is correct."
Colts coach Tony Dungy, whose team was defeated 29-13 by the Chicago Bears last weekend, confirmed that Johnson will be suspended from Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings (0-1).
...
He is one of the best defensive players for the Colts, recording 4 tackles and 3 assists against the Bears.
This is going to open up the running game even more.
I see a big day for AD.Zeus wrote:

In all honesty I would rather everything stay the same than mix up their lineup...This is how we always run into trouble...we underestimate backups and they end up being (in this case) a better run stopper than the starter!!!!!

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

You're not dumb for possessing marijuana, but you usually are if you get caught with it.

There is normally a reason they are the back up not the starter.
Kind of like Hicks filling in for McKinnie...
BTW, here is what the Colts board has to say about it
