    What happens in the regular season doesn't matter once you're in the playoffs. What you do when you reach THAT point does.

    True... BUT if you collapse during the regular season and then never reach the playoffs, it doesn't matter either.

    well, we really cant complain either way since the modern super bowl era the vikes are near the top in all time playoff appearances. do we like being the bridesmaid? yea right!!!
    but we have enjoyed football longer into the season than a whole slew of teams.
    but i am tired of not winning it all.
    we deserve it some time or another, why not now.
    i voted the 3 champ. has to be hell. havent the vikes done this or similiar? close to it.

    If you collapse during the season you don't get to collapse in the championship games.

    To me collapsing means not making it to the playoffs.
