On passing downs, we should put Chester in the backfield and line up Adrian as one of our WRs.
because of his great running routes and success in catching passes?
or because he is are best player and he needs to be on the field?
This is just amazing to me.
You go with your best players in that situation.
CT is the better choice in that situation.
He is the best player but would you put Randy Moss in when your team is punting?
He's their best player right now.

I like this thread. It's a tough question.

Late in the game, down six, offense needs a spark. Who gives you that spark? AD Duh, but wait, AD has been contained for a good amount of the game.

I would have been ok with Chester in the game if we had forced the ball to Berrian.

I think what happenned is we called plays for Berrian and he was blanketed, so Gus checked down.

Still, people are only angry because CT fumbled. At the same time, if AD is in, but we still lose, does this argument happen?

Bigger question: Was Chilly outcoached, or do we put otgether a game-winning drive if the fumbles don't happen?
You bring up a very good point. I've got to say that Chilly was out-coached.

I realize that's a pretty predictable opinion coming from me... but you have to figure that we have both Peterson and Taylor on our team... yet our coach couldn't figure out a way to get both playmakers on the field at the same time.

We lost... so we were out-coached regardless.
We were outplayed on the field, coaching can only go so far.
I feel like i'm supporting Chilly a lot here...

we weren't running the clock out.
We were trying to score with less than 2 minutes left, down by 6 and no time outs

Your right...lets cut Taylor as well as Hicks since there is never any reason to have anyone but AD in the game, Tahi can spell him here and there and it opens up 2 roster spots to add depth where we will actually use it.
    That was exactly my point.
: So you both want to break up the best tandem back team in the league?

You two have just lost a lot of credibility with me.

I questioned whether or not yours was sarcasm or not, but I know Mr. A's was not.

Really? I was in no way serious.

He took my post, which said that I wanted our best player getting the ball in that situation and sarcastically turned it into me wanting to cut Taylor and Hicks... which I in no way implied, and he understood that(I think). I knew he was being sarcastic, so I responded the same way.

I don't know how you took it seriously. Had I been serious, I'm sure more than just you would have questioned that.
