Coach expects more from Peterson in '09

Sid Hartman: Coach expects more from Peterson in '09

Even though Adrian Peterson led the NFL in rushing as a second-year back, he still has room to improve.

They can coach ball control skills, and patience to hit the hole, but not overdue it to a point were AD's natural abilities are hindered. Adrian's vision, and instincts can't be coached. Got to find that fine line between patience, and letting it rip without overthinking.

I'm more concerned about his pass blocking & pass catching abilities.

Well Im a bit more worried about the turnovers considering how often we want to get him the ball.
It was starting to hurt us alot last year.
Sure he makes huge plays but after you go 60 yards and then cough up the football the next play, it really didnt make all that much of a difference.

What I meant by that is I think the fumblitis will be better controled this year. Not to worried about that. He is & has been already working on that issue.

Re: Coach expects more from Peterson in '09

I saw this article online and I don't know how they can expect much more out of this guy! I guess the one thing would be to take better care of the ball, but we should be thankful for what he's done!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
