Re: Coach aproval ratings, as voted by fans

Childress is not a motivator. I was at training camp this year antisipating some fire in there bellys with the offseason additions.....I found nothing. Our high school football team practiced with more fire. After three days of watching there practice I thought the following. Great tallent.....no motivation...no fire.

A few years ago there was a show on HBO Hard Knocks, Training camp with the Baltimore Ravens. Coach Brian Billick was the star. He is a motivator and one hell of a good coach, probably one of the smartest coaches in the NFL...or was anyway. Now I listen to his comments on NFL network and think to myself.....why is he not coaching? Why does every owner think they can find the next Mike Tomlin in these coordinators. Childress did what he was hired to do....he cleaned house and made players accountable for there actions. Now it's time to coach and quite frankly I don't think he has the ability. This team has always needed a motivating coach....maybe it's because we are so close to our biggest rival with packer fans and viking fans living among each other in the same city, I don't know. Brian Billick to me could be the answer we are looking for. A clear motivator, He's been there, He knows what it takes as a coach to get his team to the big dance and he is one of our own, the best OC we have ever had. I say Bring Back Brian and we are in the Superbowl in two years.

I wouldn't throw fits if he became the coach because he is a great motivator and motivation is exactly what this team is missing. Its silly to say this because its a game of grown men but Coaches are there to lead by any means. Now as for the best offense and all that it has alot to do with the Talent we had, his offense in Baltamore was horrible and he never found a QB to lead his Team, a concern IMO.

Personally if I had my choice I would love to have Mike Holmgran but I think he's done for atleast awhile after this season.

I for one think he needs to go after this year.
I'm glad people are starting to finally see what I've seen from day one... it's about fricken time.
We know you knew this from day 1....we get it.
You have only said it a billion times.
You were right, so many of us were wrong.
    Better?
What about the billion times I heard someone say Childress needs more time or TJ just needs one more game?
You are talking about many people saying that.
    I am talking about 1 person...C Mac D.
