Vikings in the Playoffs?
The Vikes have the easiest schedule between the falcons and cowboys i believe that the vikes will go 3 of 4 in the last four games and they will have a wild card

Re: Vikings in the Playoffs?
I was just watching Around the Horn. Woody and Adande didn't think the vikes would make the playoffs but mariotti and the other guy did. God bless the latter.
I Love Kerry Collins (and John Rocker).

Thanks Troll  But if the Bears go 1-3 and Vikes go 3-1 they do finish tied, but the Vikes would likely have jumped in the tie-breaker assuming the Bears lost to the Packers. And 2-2 definitely COULD win us the division ... didn't say it would, but simple math shows that if we go 2-2 (9-7) and you go 0-4 (9-7) we win the divsion straight up ... better division record moron ... don't come on here just to argue if you cannot even figure out simple math."midgensa" wrote:
If the bears finish 1-3 for a 10-6 record, the vikings have to go 3-1 to tie, and they are behind in tiebreakers as of now. 2-2 will not win you the division. As for tonight. If the eagles win the bears are the #1 seed. All right here we go since so many seem to just have crazy things on here ... this is assuming Seattle beats Philly tonight, though a lot des not change if it goes the other way.
DIVISION WINNERS
1. Seattle 10-2 (S.F., @Tenn., Ind., @G.Bay) NFC - 9-1
2. Chicago 9-3 (@Pitt, Atl, @G.B., @Minn.) NFC - 8-1
3. Carolina 9-3 (T.B., @N.O., Dall., @Atl.) NFC - 6-2
4. N.Y. Giants 8-4 (@Phil, K.C., @Skins, @Oak) NFC - 7-3
Wild Cards
5. T.Bay 8-4 (@Car., @N.E., Atl., N.O.) NFC - 6-3
6. Dallas 7-5 (K.C., @Skins, @Car., St.L) NFC - 6-3
Looking In ...
7. Atlanta 7-5 (N.O., @Chi., @T.B., Car.) NFC - 4-4
8. MINNESOTA 7-5 (St.L, Pitt, @Balt., Chi.) NFC - 6-4
9. Skins 6-6 (@Ari., Dall, Giants, @Phil) NFC - 6-2
There is it all spelled out. We have a few problems. We obviously need to leap two teams for the Wild Card, which means if we win out we need the Cowboys to lose once and the Falcons to lose once, if we go 3-1 we need them to each go 2-2 if we want the Wild Card and we need the Skins to NOT win out ... follow?
Now for the division ... the Bears play four tough games, if they can nicely slide into a 1-3 hole counting a loss to us, then 3-1 or even 2-2 could win us the division.
Atlanta and Chicago seem to play the toughest schedules of the teams we need to lose and the Cowboys do not have an easy ride either.
There are a whole lot of ways for us to sneak in even if we finish up 3-1 or even 2-2 ... but if we keep winning it should all take care of itself.

If Chi. goes 2-2 and we go 4-0 we finish with a tied record obviously, but if they happen to have lost to G.B. we win the division, also at that point we would be 8-4 in the conference, so if the Bears lost to us and Atlanta they would only have three conference losses and would win the tie-breaker. So simply put, we really would like the Pack to beat the Bears in Lambeau. If the vikes finish 10-6 there is almost no way a 10 win team doesnt make the playoffs. As for winning the divisionthat will be tough if Chi wins 2 of their final 4 we are pretty much done. Finally if the Colts make the superbowl they are fdar superior to any NFC team that would play them. They just have to survive the tough AFC playoffs.
Go Vikes

That is definitely the truth. I am just tired of all the doom and gloom on here when there are a ton of ways we can still get in including even going 2-2 down the stretch. I think people don't like getting their hopes up, but there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic right now.ill say it again.
all we gotta do is keep winning!
