Re: Chuck Foreman never regrets 3 Super Bowl losses

I was just talking to a guy tonight about the Drew Pearson play. I told him, it is THE most infamous play ever, for us Vikings fans. BTW, Pearson admitted that it was OFFENSIVE pass interference.

Re Foreman, he was a stud.

But it still bothers me that the Vikings killed everyone to make ths Show and then averaged a meagre 10.3 points in the Super Bowl.

    How ??

That was their best team IMO.

It's actually worse...only 8.5 pts per game avg.

For me, the most disheartening was the loss to the Raiders.

Drew Pearson woke up this morning and pushed off of his wife on the way to the bathroom.

    No flag was thrown.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Then she hit him in the back of the head with a bottle.

I think Chris Carter evened up the score over the years.. between him and Micheal Irvin, I swear they should have purchased a moving company for as much space they cleared.

    Interesting perspective.
True, they cleared alot of space, however, if my memory serves me, Cris Carter never got away with it as time expired in the NFC Championship Game.
Cowboys fans jaded recollection has clearly permeated PackerNation too, even in the throws of Pearson's admission.

Oh I am not denying that he pushed off in the least, Pearson pushed off like a sailer from a pier.. guilty he was. Bad calls clutter many moments of NFL history, the light was just a little brighter on this one than most.

Haven't heard that one..."pushed off like a sailor from a pier."
    Gonna use that one, thanks

Re: Chuck Foreman never regrets 3 Super Bowl losses

A buddy I know walked up to Drew Pearson at a Sprint company motivational speech, in the intermission, and said to Pearson "Just between you and me, did you push off against the Vikings ?".

Answer: "Of course I pushed off !".
