I think Childress will have the boys ready for Buffalo.. He should tell them, the game against the Bears was a free gift, now no more gift giving.. He is a good coach, he will have them ready..
There is nothing surprising about Childress' answer to the following question, but I like it just the same.
Q: 2-1 though against three really good teams, not too bad?
A: Too bad. I want to be real good. I say it all of the time, the highs aren't as high as the lows are low, particularly when you have one of those things in your grasp. My expectation is to win every one. I don't go in and count the first four, divide it into quarters, and say geez, if we can go 3-1 or 2-2. Every single time I line up and we line up, we feel like we've got a plan to win. In a couple of those instances, we've managed to follow that thing through. In this one, we're disappointed because we didn't follow it through. Again, my expectation, that team's expectation, is not just to throw our hat in the ring and make it a game, it's to win the game.
