    You're Fucking joking right!!!?

We get the ball back with 1:55 left, first play Bobby Wade gets called for offensive pass int...10 yards so it is now 1st and 20....second play...SACK -8 yards....2nd and 28.............

So 1:48 left second and 28 Adrian Peterson has dropped a huge pass earlier in the game, a few weeks before C. taylor is our Leading WR.......they throw an 11 yard pass to Taylor to pick up some yards he catches it and fumbles.....game over.

This writer is a moron. You are going to blame Childress for having his running back out on 2nd and ~30 under 2 minutes, when the play he designed picked up 11 yards MINIMUM except C.Taylor fumbled.....how is that the coaches fault?

    Thank you

I feel we are the only two who really understand what the coach must be doing in game situations

All the others see is AP on the sidelines and think it's bad without really thinking

Yes AP has better big play capability

But Chester is more consistant in blocking and pass catching.. Which is why he was used in that situation

People have no idea how the NFL works sometimes I swear and it really bugs me..
    Consistent, eh?

    Did we win this game?

Wow... I guess the object of coaching a good football team is to be "Consistent" and not win...

How silly of all of us "Little folk" to think otherwise. Thanks for the "breakdown" chief.

    AP is amazing dude

but chester has better hands and can block better. and late in the game. thats what we need for gus ferrotte
    Oh... obviously....

    We lost.

Rewind a week... who scored the winning TD?
Becasue 1, I repeat 1 game tells the whole story.
You go with the best player for that situation.
That is why Taylor is in on 3rd downs (passing downs).

    [/quote]

We lost the game in question... so, whether or not you think it was a "good move" coaching wise... we lost.

In the words of Herm Edwards, "You play the game to win..."

This is exactly what I mean when I say people have just "accepted" the mediocrity they're handed.

    Sad.

Who also blew a couple key blocks leading to sacks of Gus?

    Yah the superstar Adrian

Re: Childress, Vikings wasting their star

    Hahaha... this is getting hilarious.

You're right, we shouldn't have Peterson in during the final drives of games... HOW STUPID OF ME.... DOH!!!!

Thanks for the laughs ladies. I'll be sure to dig this thread up when we have a losing record and Childress is fired.

    Leave Peterson out.... ha.....

Re: Childress, Vikings wasting their star

Now im not the biggest supporter of Chilldress but putting in Chester was really the best call

We didn't have time to run the ball with no timeouts.. Expecially when they were keeping AP to gains of - yards to 3 yards

Chester is a much better blocker and pass catcher..

I don't think it's really a question when you need to go 70 yards in a short ammount of time what back needs to be in there.. Not the 1 dimensions guy.. AP is amazing at running but needs to shore up some other areas

Wow... agreeing with your brother... must take a lot of courage.

Final drive, the past two weeks:

    w/Peterson - Win
    w/o Peterson - Loss

    Just the facts.

    Those are all great rationales...

    But we lost.

everyone here that says its better to have chester in....I hope will be happy when they see AD on another team rippin them a new one in the final 2 minutes on a team that regonizes what they have, chester cant carry Petersons Jock, but these great coaches what to put AD returning kicks so he will get blown up in one play......(yes put AD on bench final 2 minutes, yes have your franchise return kicks) the sooner AD goes to a team where he can be utilized as the best RB today, the better

    So that's on Chilldress right?

When AP was held to 20 yards over 3 quarters I don't think that's his fault

They keyed on him and played a great game

Do you ever give credit to anyone or do you just like to blame every single mishap to Chilldress?

I mean, I could be like you and point the finger at someone else every week... but then we'd be left without a team.
