hey guys, im new here...purplepride is an awesome site. i think what sleepagent said is right on. i like TJ, but u still have to keep in mind that he only played in offseason and coaches typically don't throw out their best defensive stuff in offseason. so we can't really tell exactly how he would look in the regular season till he get out there and plays. but i am really hoping that we won't have to use a #2

I seriously doubt that we will have any QB problems for atleast the next 10 years unless Jackson starts sucking(like Cullpepper).
I say that Johnson plays this year and if it is clear half way through the season NEXT year, Jackson will begin starting.
If something happens to BJ this year I want to see this new guy, just so I dont have to see Jackson making mistakes in situations that he isnt ready for.

i agree on you rpoint of having jackson learn for a year or do and he has the best teacher too, but if came down to it, if brad got hurt and brooks not doing good, i feel confident that jackson would be ok...
