    Re: Childress Tweaks Training Camp

The Vikings, who train in Mankato, Minn., released a schedule that includes single afternoon practices on two Sundays (July 29 and Aug. 12) and single home-and-home evening practices against Kansas City on Aug. 3-4. The Vikings will then be off on Aug. 5.
Sounds good if it keeps the players injury free, and keeps them from problems with the heat.

    Thank goodness.

I said a couple times during the year that I thought our injury problems were due a lot to Childress's camp. It will be nice to see Childress pull back on it a little bit.

I think he learned from his first year and realized the players got gassed by the end of the year from over working them..
Every good coach knows how to make adjustments to suit his team.

Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports the Minnesota Vikings' training camp will be sponsored by Alltel Wireless. Midwest Wireless, which was the sponsor, was bought by Alltel.

It appears KFFL better pick up their pace on reporting.

Hmm, weird thing is, I saw all that on cbssportsline about a week ago.
You guys have busted me before on reposting from there...I wonder who puts it together, and who just clicks and pastes...?

Here is the team page, all that info is under the varying headlines: Inside Slant, Note & Quotes, and Personell strategy...
