i actually like TJack and from what I have seen of him the last couple of times he has played.

But what does raise a red flag to me is, is that we tendered him at what a 3rd? or 4th? and not one team out of the 31 other teams even inquired about him. You had teams like the browns who got seneca wallace over tjack. the seahawks exchanged 2nd round picks with the chargers to get whitehurst and then signed him to a two-year, $8 million contract, which is worth up to $10 million with incentives. and this guy whitehurst sucks major cock
I think they took a gamble here and hoped no one offered anything.

The tender they offered is/was a gauge for TJ and the Vikes to base his next contract off of.

Very little interest, Vikes keep him on the cheap. Anyone shows interest, Vikes still sign him, but not quite as cheap. In the end, they keep thier backup regardless of what happens.

Unless of course, someone goes off the deepend and offers him "Top Starter" money.

    .....snicker.....

Don't make me pull up a couple of picks you guys said were the reason you moved on. Lets not forget, Rodgers wasn't the only new QB on that roster.

I'd still take TJ over those two chuckleheads.

Such a great thread. I have a feeling that this will last us until well into the preseason.

You know that you're replying to a fellow Vikes fan, right? Or am I just totally missing something? Lol.

i'm comfortable with TJ we can make the playoffs. but i dont see him taking the vikings to the nfcc game
as much as i love mcnabb i cant see us mortgaging our future by giving away top draft picks for him. favre playing another season,TJ and sage battling it out for the #2 spot and drafting tebow or colt mccoy is the best scenario.
