The problem with that plan is leaving Cook alone to block Kampman. That would not work well.im thinking we just put kleinsauser on the left side to help in protection for the first 4 games
It also limits the offensive plays one can run.
I would prefer they help Cook first and adjust to help Hicks if he needs it.
KGB may not be there or may not be 100% due to his knee injury.
Most here know I'm not a Hicks fan. But I do believe he will pass protect as well as McKinnie.“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Re: Childress says Hicks should be just fine
Here's to hoping Artis brings some extra attitude and focus and plays surprisingly well!!
Check out this depth chart...couple of interesting points.
Nobody listed behind Ray at LDE...and they've got Marcus Johnson listed at LT.
The pile at DT kind of seems to lean toward LDE.

Think we'll see anything like the Giants' 4 DE rush?
Robison
Ray
Kevin
Allen
Maybe mixing in Otis, Guion at times too...lighter, faster pass rush guys all line long?
In a rotation of course...Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
