Childress says Hicks should be just fine

The problem with that plan is leaving Cook alone to block Kampman. That would not work well.
It also limits the offensive plays one can run.

Most here know I'm not a Hicks fan. But I do believe he will pass protect as well as McKinnie.

Check out this depth chart...couple of interesting points.
Nobody listed behind Ray at LDE...and they've got Marcus Johnson listed at LT.
The pile at DT kind of seems to lean toward LDE.
