I was about to ask you what Tank Johnson had to do with CHildress, but luckily I read the article before I opened my mouth and inserted my foot.

I would be proud to have the Vikings be one of the leading organizations that starts getting player behavior more in line with civilized society. WE could become a new model of clearing out the riffraff, malcontents and criminals and installing players that view being a Pro as a rare privilege... throw in some locals... Birk, Bollinger, Greenway, Leber etc. and some picks from more humble colleges.....people that actually want to be here......maybe Chilly is building a new order here... It was a good point someone made in a thread... I don't want some one year wonder Superbowl winner (although I'll take what I can get, of course ;D) but a dynasty, a perennial contender.
Have I ever told you what an outstanding humanitarian I am?

In his first full year at the wheel of the Vikings, players like Koren Robinson and Fred Smoot followed Culpepper out of town. Despite not having great depth at any of the three positions in which the players Childress got rid of, he made the decisions for what he believed was the
Exactly why I would be confused if Smith is not cut.
Smoots expected base salary was not too much more then what Smiths will be I believe.
Smoot and Smith both had innappropriate sexual conduct.
While Smoot's attitude may have been worse, Smith is not the perfect team member. He missed a team meating last year and was reprimanded.

Smoot was under assault investigation but never charged.
He had injury problems but depth at CB was much weaker then Safety.

    Am I missing anything?

Smoot was never charged because he didn't do anything. If you recall, the bitch was lying to try & get money out of Smoot by sueing him.

It was the girls friends who blew the whistle on her & said she fabricated the story.
